Owners

Steve & Karen Johnston

They opened All About Automotive, Inc. in October of 2000 and they made up the entire team for just under a year. Steve has been employed in the Automotive Field as a Technician since 1977. Karen began her career in the Automotive Field upon the opening of All About Automotive, Inc.

Technicians

David Orozco-Iriqu

David Orozco-Iriqui obtained his Associates of Applied Science Degree in Automotive Technology in the spring of 2017 from Mt. Hood Community College. This was added to his Certificate that he obtained in Maintenance and Light Repair also from Mt. Hood Community College. He has been working as an Automotive Technician for 4 years and his next goal is to obtain his ASE Certifications. In his free time he spends time with his large and close family and visits Mexico whenever he is on vacation to keep close with his extended family too.

Alexander Rodriguez

Alexander Rodriguez has been in the Automotive Field as an Automotive Maintenance Technician for 8 years. Alex has been fully trained on all maintenance services and is currently expanding his knowledge and skills through continuing education classes and training.

Andrew Severson

Andrew Severson

Andrew Severson is currently at student attending Mt. Hood Community College in the Automotive Import Program. He obtained his Certificate in Maintenance and Light Repair in the spring of 2018. Andrew was raised around vehicles and automotive repair for most of his life, his father has been in the automotive field for his career. All About Automotive is currently sponsoring Andrew through his automotive program at Mt. Hood Community College and he now has about 1 ½ of experience working in the automotive technician field. This does not count the experience that he has in automotive parts sales also. Andrew currently has a 1971 Chevy Pickup that he is working on while he uses it as his daily driving.

Tim Vielmetti

Tim Vielmetti

Tim Vielmetti is an ASE Certified Master Technician who has over 28 years of experience. He has worked in the Greater Portland/Beaverton/Vancouver area for most of his career. He continues to hone his skills and keep up to date with technology by participating in continuing education. Tim is a father of 3 grown boys and an avid slow pitch softball player with tournaments on a monthly basis. He has played or coached, baseball or softball since he was young. He also loves to boat on the evenings and weekends when the weather is great!

Mallory VanRiper

Mallory VanRiper

Mallory is our customers’ main contact person for providing estimates, answering technical questions, providing a timeline on repairs and explanations as to what is going on with your vehicle and what is needed. Whether it be repairs or maintenance needed now or in the future. She will be able to advise you as to the best way to take care of your vehicle for safety, reliability and longevity. Mallory has been in some form of the automotive field for the last 13 years. She completed automotive courses in High School, has worked as a Service Advisor at Toyota and Subaru Dealerships and has obtained her Subaru Service Advisor Certification.

Mallory was in partnership with her husband (Who is an ASE Master L1 Certified Technician) in the ownership and operation of a performance shop in the Portland area for about 10 years. She was also raised by a father who is an ASE Master and GM Certified Technician for the last 35 years. Mallory has worked side by side with both her husband and father on maintenance and repairs of vehicles. Mallory participates in multiple forms of racing. She has also provided track support and racing instruction for Grass Roots racing teams to Competitive racing teams. Be assured that if you need to talk to an expert in automotive Mallory will be able to take care of you.
